SunSun has always been about building a community and creating a warm feeling while enjoying a good cup of coffee. SunSun Roasters was born from the rib of a specialty coffee shop in the heart of Goudenregenplein, The Hague. The cafe was home to many locals and newcomers, who treated the place like a second living room. Many friendships, collaborations, and relationships blossomed, and we carry those bonds with SunSun Roasters as we move towards an online platform that spreads the love through collaborating with new cafes, and continuing to serve our customers, as well as work with our vendors and community. We support the creative arts, and good causes, and strive to be present where people get together.

Fair trade is built on the idea that farmers earn a fair price—enough to sustain their work and keep quality high. The social impact comes naturally from there: with better income, farmers can hire locally, create new opportunities, grow better varieties, and focus fully on coffee instead of relying on other sources of income.
Since we’re a small local business, we put all our energy into quality. Rather than offering a huge list of coffees, we keep our selection small, thoughtful, and seasonal so every cup we share is one we’re genuinely proud of.
